VTALK RADIO Bridal Spotlight Gary Zuyus and Angela White of Helen, Georgia

ANNOUNCER: Welcome to the VTalk Radio Bridal Spotlight brought to you by morephotos.com the online photo sales solution to professional photographers with their own online studio. Now here's your host, John Bentley.

JOHN: Today on VTalk Radio's Bridal Spotlight we have Helen, Georgia, photographer, Gary Zuyus, and wedding coordinator, Angela White, of Magnolia Terrace Wedding Chapel. Welcome to VTalk Radio's Bridal Spotlight today, Gary and Angela.

ANGELA: Thank you for having us.

GARY: How are you?

JOHN: We are glad to have you join us here via the telephone. We have a great program to talk about your wedding chapel. Give us kind of an overview of what you've got going on down there, Gary.

GARY: Well, we do weddings, obviously. We have a full facility here. Angela, you can tell him about the facility.

ANGELA: We have a really nice wedding chapel that seats 60 up to 100 people. It's already pre-decorated, beautiful archway, the chairs are already decorated, and the bride has her own full dressing room with a private rest room and as does the groom as well. We have a nice garden area outside, beautiful gazebo, and it seats up to 150 outside with a beautiful archway and a full garden area where there's roses usually in bloom and is very ascetically pleasing, and our reception are that we have can seat up to 130 comfortably. There's a beautiful fireplace inside to keep you nice and warm and has that ambience and we have a full kitchen and we do very well with our catering and we invite anybody to come out and check us out.

JOHN: Now, Gary, let's talk a little bit about the photography aspect of what you've got going on there. First of all, how about a little background on your photography?

GARY: Ok. Well, of course, we have a facility here that I do all the photography, although, we do allow people to come in to bring their own cameras if they like, because I don't care if they snap pictures while I'm taking pictures. And we do the full gammit for the bride getting ready to the ceremony. We do the whole ceremony, and then of course we go into the gazebo; we take some pictures of the bride holding her flowers, the poses, and then the bride and groom and the entire bridal party, and of course, if they look at our website they can see all the pictures that we take. We use More Photos to put them on them online with and they've been fantastic.

JOHN: Speaking of your website, why don't you go ahead and give your website address and contact information.

GARY: Yeah, it's www.magnoliaterrace.com. Actually, and if you want to contact us it would be info@magnoliaterrace.com. Everything is on the web, but you can also call us, you know, on our 800 number. 1-800-605-4554.

JOHN: Now, Angela, back to you. When you're coordinating a wedding, I know I've been married myself and I went through a similar facility like yours, it's nice to have somebody there that can kind of direct traffic, if you will, and how the process is going. Certainly as a bride and groom, you've got enough things going on in your noggin to not have to worry about that. That's an invaluable resource. How do the bride and groom interact with you as a coordinator? Or how do you interact with them?

ANGELA: That's very interesting. Usually when they book, what we do is we sit down, we have planners. I give a little wedding planner and a reception planner. These are key ingredients to making a wedding run smoothly. The more information that your wedding planner has, the more things run accordingly. I talked to them about their color choices. Once they've made their color choices, you know, as far as dresses for the bridesmaids or what not, then we go to floral choices, and it just kind works from off there. But the most important thing for the bride to decide is what kind of dress she's going to have and what kind of the dress is the girls going to wear, and then everything kind of falls in place after that. I take care of the cake choices. We kind of go over...we have certain styles and flavors that we use and they pick from those and then we move onto food choices, and we have a very large menu in which I show them what goes together, what doesn't, and you know, we kind pride ourselves on being what we call the one-stop shop. You know, you can get everything done here, and the only thing we want you to worry about is not tripping on your dress.

JOHN: Good point. Hey, we're going to take a break real quick, we'll be right back with Gary Zuyus and Angela White of Magnolia Terrace out of Helen, Georgia, and you're listening to VTalk Radio's Bridal Spotlight. We'll be right back.

ANNOUNCER: We now return you to VTalk Radio's Bridal Spotlight with your host, John Bentley.

JOHN: Welcome back to VTalk Radio's Bridal Spotlight. We are in the studio today with Helen, Georgia, photographer, Gary Zuyus, and wedding coordinator, Angela White, of Magnolia Terrace Wedding Chapel. Welcome back to the program you two.

BOTH: Thanks.

JOHN: Now you've got a great service that you're providing wedding couples, and I want to talk a little bit more...a couple of the things that you've got going on. First of all, you've got a cabin that you're putting up near the facility so people don't have to travel too far after the wedding, right?

GARY: Right. It's right across the street. It's very rustic, like a log cabin. It's about 2,000 sq ft. It's two story, and literally you can walk across the street to get to it.

ANGELA: It also has a beautiful wrap around porch. Big front porch with lots of rocking chairs out front so you can do some front porch kicking.

JOHN: Now, I understand that you also provide a service of horse and carriage? ANGELA: Yes, we do. We have at our convenience a beautiful wrought iron white carriage. It kind of looks like the Cinderella pumpkin, if you will, and it's usually drawn by some white horses. So it kind of gives you that fairytale essence.

JOHN: Sounds beautiful. Now what about entertainment? What kind of entertainment do you guys offer there, Gary?

GARY: Well of course we have a full DJ set up at the reception hall, and we have about 4,000 songs in the computer plus we have a regular DJ set up to play CDs. If they bring their own CDs we can play them. If they make their own, we can play them. Or if they want a song we can get it offline within seconds so it's not a big deal, plus we have Angela sings if they needed a wedding singer. She's a great singer, and of course if anybody wants to bring their own guitar player or whatever that's fine with us.

JOHN: Now you guys provide different packages on your website that people can go and view to see the different variety of services that you provide, true?

ANGELA: That is true. Each package is named like the Private Affair is usually for those very small weddings that have 2 people and they can have up to ten guests and then it goes up to the Memories program which is a wedding only once again, and it allows up to 60 guests and then you go into your wedding and your reception programs. They all grow incrementally depending on the photography and the third options and the flower options and, as you know, that's the big part of a wedding costs right there. But they're all titled and everything is broken down as to what all comes with it and also we do it in increments of 25 people. So it's very well laid out and there's no guess work involved when you go and look at our package prices. There are also some options that you can add to and, of course, if you want to, you know, kind of negotiate some terms or something, just feel free to talk to me, and I can see what I can do for you. We work with very many budgets.

JOHN: Now what about the service of videography. I know that we cherish having being able to go relive our wedding experience via DVD. Do you guys provide that service?

GARY: Yeah, we have from the smallest wedding, we have a fixed camera in the chapel that takes just what it gets. It's a mounted on the wall camera plus we also offer the service of a full videographer to videotape from the very beginning to the very end. It's a manned camera and it does the wedding service and the reception and all the festivities after that.

JOHN: Let's talk about some of the cities and communities surrounding Helen, Georgia, that you guys provide this service for.

ANGELA: We have Clarksville right down the road and it's a very nice community where they have lots of family fun entertainment and antiques and then there's Cleaver which is right down the road which is the home of the Cabbage Patch Dolls. They have Babyland General where you can see where the Cabbage Patch derived from and then right down the road is where Delanica is and that is where the first gold rush was happening at. So there's lots of nice communities in the area for you to go check out.

GARY: We also have a service for women who can't find a husband.

JOHN: Oh really? GARY: Called Rednecks R Us. That's an option.

JOHN: That is a nice option. I'm sure that's a very expensive option too. Hey, before I let you guys go, and it's certainly been a pleasure talking to you, let's get your website address and your phone number in real quick before we leave.

GARY: Ok. Our website is www.magnoliaterrace.com. And, of course, if you go there, you'll find our...you can get our email address, but our email address is info@magnoliaterrace.com. And our 800 number is

ANGELA: 1-800-605-4554.

GARY: And we also take all the major credit cards. We take Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.

JOHN: That's good information to know. Gary and Angela I certainly want to thank you for joining us on VTalk Radio's Bridal Spotlight today.

GARY: Ok, thank you.

ANGELA: Thank you.

JOHN: We have been in the studio via the telephone with Helen, Georgia, photographer, Gary Zuyus, and wedding coordinator, Angela White, of Magnolia Terrace Wedding Chapel and you've been listening to VTalk Radio's Bridal Spotlight. Thanks for tuning in today everyone. Have a great afternoon.
